A bit about me and my passion...
Thank you for taking a moment to get to know me a little better!
My affinity for strong, sensual visuals speaks to a keen appreciation for the power of imagery in conveying emotions and stories. I blend creativity and a thoughtful approach to my work, particularly within the realm of boudoir photography where intimacy and expression play key roles.
Being born in the 80s and growing up in the 90s can add a nostalgic touch to my perspective, infusing my art with influences from that vibrant era of pop culture. This is the base, a rich tapestry of experiences, combining a passion for art with a deep appreciation for individuality and the visual medium.
I'm a backroad loving, music obsessed goofball who enjoys all the things... I'm in love with my life! I have a very supportive and inspiring husband, 4 kids, and 4 furbabies. I enjoy the more laidback country life, but love to travel. Some favorite family activities include; hunting, fishing, boating, camping, and road tripping. We also love movie nights and cooking dinner together.
I'm an Aries so my passions run very deep, and as a fire sign I remain enthusiastic and dedicated when it comes to the things that matter to me. But I do tend to withdraw from social interactions and become somewhat hermit-like. This behavior may seem contradictory to my outgoing nature, but it's essential to understand that Aries individuals need solitude and introspection from time to time. These periods of solitude allow us to recharge and gain clarity.
I would love to spend more time being creative, using various mediums such as; painting, mixed media, sculptures, and writing but always feel like there's just not enough hours in the day.
As an inspired artist with a love for the horror aesthetic I would love to delve deeper into the visual elements that define horror aesthetics, such as dark and moody lighting, eerie landscapes, dramatic shadows, and unsettling color palettes. The world of horror is rich with creativity, atmosphere, and emotion, making it a captivating genre for artists like me.
But back to BOUDOIR...
The magic of a boudoir photoshoot lies not only in the final stunning galleries but also in the transformative experience it offers. Clients often walk away with a newfound sense of confidence, carrying the visual reminders of their journey towards self-acceptance and self-love. My love for capturing these moments extends beyond technical skill; it involves a deep appreciation for the human spirit and a commitment to fostering a positive and empowering narrative around self-image and sensuality.
The magic of boudoir photography is elevated to new heights when capturing the intimate moments of a couple. The luxury of shooting together adds a layer of connection and shared vulnerability that results in images telling a story of love, passion, and mutual admiration.
All of these facets blend together and create an immersive and intriguing career path for me. I always say, "I do not want to do anything else [with my life] because this is where my passion is rooted" and I'm so very grateful to be on this journey and witness the growth firsthand.
Your images tell a story of courage, self-acceptance, and the celebration of the human form. It is my hope that, through this sharing, we can inspire others to embrace their sensuality and prioritize their own unique journey of self-discovery.
How it all began, and where we are now...
2011 - 2018
2018 - 2023
2023 - Present
This is when digital photography became a thing for me. I had always had some kind of camera, whether polaroid or film, with me but digital photography opened up a whole new world for me.
I took photos of nature, family members and friends, pets, the usual... Until one day it clicked in my head that "professional photographer" was a possibility. At this point I began doing portrait sessions - themed minis for kids, lifestyle, seniors, family, and outdoor glamour sessions.
I attended Eastern Oklahoma State College to further my knowledge, and boost my technical and compositional skills.
I had developed a great lust for continuing in my boudoir journey by 2018 and was fortunate enough to find a great space for a studio. Once the studio was secured I went to work on honing this side of my craft and began to really see the full impact of boudoir photography and how empowering the work is.
Now I am in a brand new space located in downtown McAlester and I am building a personalized company dedicated to fulfilling the artistic wants, needs, and desires of women allover the surrounding areas! We have expanded our offerings to include fun activities for friend groups such as portrait and paint parties and will host amazing minis throughout the year as we cultivate our new inviting and breathtaking "Boudoir."
